Welcome to recruitment news section. Central Power Research Institute (CPRi) has open 53 various lateral entry R & D positions. Candidates who are full fill all requirement , they may apply through prescribed application format on or before the last date of 24-09-2012. More detail like  age limit, eligibility, application fee how to apply, selection procedure etc are given below.

CPRI Recruitment 2012 posts details are as :-

 1. Engineering Officer Grade 4 – 01 vacancy
 2. Engineering Officer Grade 3 – 26 posts
 3. Scientific Officer Grade 2 – 05 posts
 4. Publication & Publicity Officer – 01 post
 5. Accounts Officer – 02 posts
 6. Engineering Assistant Gr.2 – 07 posts
 7. Engineering Assistant Gr.1 – 11 posts

Age limit : Candidates aged should less than 45 years for post 1, below 40 yrs for posts 2, 4 & 5, below 35 yrs for posts 3 & 6 and below 30 yrs for post 7 as on September 24, 2012.

Required Qualification : Candidates who want to apply for this posts , they must completed BE/ME/M.Tech/M.Sc/Ph.D/Degree/Diploma in relevant discipline and subject. For more details refer to the notification.

Application Fee : Candidates need to deposit application fee of Rs. 100/- in form of crossed Demand Draft valid for at least 6 months, in favour of Chief Administrative Officer, CPRI payable at Bangalore. Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe / PWD / Female / employees of CPRI are nil application fees.

Mode of Selection : Eligible candidates will  be selected through Written Test and/or Personal Interview.

Starting dates for payment of application fee : from 27-08-2012 to 10-09-2012
Starting date for online registration : 28-08-2012
Last date for online registration at : 12-09-2012
Closing date for receipt of application by post : 17-09-2012

Apply process : Candidates need to be download the application form, which is available in the notification, fill up all required details , attach photograph and attest signature. Application forms must be sent to on or before 24-09-2012. Super scribe “Application for the post of —–” on the envelope. Applications must be sent along with DD and copies of all relevant certificates.
